Our client is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon who prioritizes care for both patients and colleagues, with events and initiatives that support well-being and give back to the community. This role is also open to candidates at the beginning of their veterinary career with a strong foundation in general surgery and medicine with flexible options available, including short days, long days, full-time, or part-time as well as support for accommodating work-life balance, such as longer lunch breaks for personal errands or relaxation.
You will be working alongside a professional and supportive team currently comprising of 2 Veterinary Surgeons, 4 Nurses (2 Qualified, 2 Students), 10 Veterinary Care Assistants an a dedicated reception team and a highly experienced practice manager. The collaborative atmosphere ensures new employees are supported and set up for success.
This recently revamped practice offers fantastic facilities and equipment including 4 consult rooms, 2 theatres + prep theatre, Kennel and cattery areas, Isolation ward, washroom, office space, Full in-house lab for quick diagnostics, Doppler Ultrasound, ECG, Endoscope, Digital and dental x-ray and access to a CT scanner for comprehensive diagnostics.
This is a permanent, full-time role with flexibility for shorter days or can be tailored to a part-time role should this be more suitable for the right candidate.
This role offers a salary up to £70,000 DOE and a range of benefits including
