Our client is looking for a Part Time Veterinary Surgeon to become a valued member of their warm and friendly team to cover maternity leave within their practice. You'll have the support of a 24-hour hospital service as well as supportive colleagues and the Referral Service will also be there to assist you. You'll have access to advanced equipment including digital X-ray, dental X-ray, ultrasound and state-of-the-art anaesthetic monitoring equipment. Including separate dog and cat wards, cat-friendly operating theatre and acupuncture services. You'll have the autonomy to work up your cases while enjoying support from colleagues with certificates in Medicine, Surgery, and Cardiology.

This is a Part-Time role working Monday and Tuesday with one of these days being your dedicated ops day – initially on a maternity cover basis. Our client can offer flexible hours to fit around your commitments, but on one of the days you would be required to work until 7PM, as part of a fair share of the consulting Rota. While you'll participate in a 1:8 day weekend Rota at the Hospital and a 1:8 branch Saturday morning, there's no on-call or night work required.
