A modern, purpose-built small animal practice in Bristol is seeking a dedicated and well-rounded Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly team. This role is ideal for a vet who thrives on client interaction, enjoys variety in their caseload, and wants a balanced mix of medicine and surgery.
The team is looking for someone with 3+ years of experience who’s confident in consultations, routine surgeries, and enjoys building long-term relationships with clients. Excellent communication skills and a genuine, customer-focused approach are essential, as you’ll play a key role in maintaining the clinic’s strong reputation for patient care and client service.
The Role
- 4-day working week with a fixed day off for work-life balance
- 9-hour shifts with dedicated admin time built into each day
- Mix of consulting and surgical duties throughout the week
- Weekend rota of 1 in 4
- Flexible working patterns considered
The Team & Practice
The clinic has a team of 5 vets led by an experienced Head Vet, supported by a strong nursing team including a Head Nurse and 5 RVNs, plus a dedicated Client Experience Team. The practice is modern, spacious and well equipped, providing an excellent environment for both clinical work and client communication.
