We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a lovely veterinary team located on the outskirts of Bristol. We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a lovely veterinary team located on the outskirts of Bristol.This bright, air-conditioned surgery is purpose built to industry leading standards, and is very well equipped with state of the art equipment including digital radiography, dental x-ray, ultrasound, blood machines, BP monitors, ECG, Capnography, class 4 Laser, a surgical suite and a dental suite. They are strictly a small animal practice with a fair share of exotics.
The experienced vet team have over 50 years experience between them. The team consists of a vet with a keen interest in surgery especially Orthopaedics. The vet team on the ground consists of 5 vets, 1 with a certificate in ophthalmology another with over 30 years of experience and 2 recently qualified vets), 2 registered Nurses, 3 veterinary nursing assistants, 5 Receptionists, a practice manager and a deputy practice manager. The team is friendly, dynamic, highly motivated and ambitious.
The ideal candidate must have at least one year UK experience in Small Animal practice. You must enjoy medicine and should be competent with all aspects of consulting and routine surgical procedures.
This is a busy practice with lots of interesting cases and provide the time and support to work cases up.
This is a permanent full time role, working 40 hours per week, with weekends on a 1 in 4 rotation, of which you may have sole charge responsibility. There is no OOH with this role.
