We’re recruiting for a rare and exciting opportunity for an Equine Vet to join a progressive, friendly, and supportive equine team offering a week-on/week-off out-of-hours role—giving you true work-life balance, time to travel, pursue passions, or just breathe!

🐴 The Role:

You’ll cover approximately 50% of the out-of-hours first call rota, alternating weekly with another experienced OOH vet. Always supported by a second on-call vet, you’ll never be working in isolation. While the primary focus is ambulatory, you’ll have full access to top-notch clinic facilities, including:

• Stabling
• Knock-down box/surgical suite
• Clinic room with stocks
• Digital radiography
• Ultrasound
• Videoscopes

And thanks to a tech-forward management system, your admin tasks (including bookings, scheduling, and holiday requests) are handled via custom phone apps—cutting down paperwork and making your life easier.

👥 You'll Be Part of a Bigger Picture:

Although your hours are out of hours, you’re very much part of a close-knit, collaborative team. You’ll work alongside certificate holders and vets with a wide range of clinical interests—offering mentorship, support, and learning opportunities. If you’re interested in expanding your role or earning extra income, day locum shifts may also be available.
