6 Month FTC Vet Role In Cardiff Hospital

Our client is looking for a Vet to join their hospital team in Cardiff for 6 months to cover a sabbatical. The role is starting at the end of April.
You will be working a mixture of hospital days, caring for inpatients and covering op days and you may be required to pick up emergency consultations. There is also the rare occasion where you will be asked to assist the first opinion team with their workload, however there will be no full consult days. Confidence in surgeries including splenectomies, amputations, lap spays, etc would be beneficial, as would experience with managing complex medical cases.
The role is as follows:
**Full time (part time considered)
**4 days / 36 hours a week (8.45am - 6.45pm - occasionally 8-6)
**No on-call (dedicated night team)
**No weekend work
The practice is well-equipped with; CT Scanner, advanced ultrasonography, endosurgery facilities, extensive blood analysis equipment- including TEG, blood gases etc, dedicated orthopaedic, soft tissue and exotic theatres, dedicated ECC wards, dental suite, In-house Hydrotherapy and Physiotherapy services.
