JR is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon for an exciting opportunity in Cardiff, this role is primarily 3 days a week at our client’s main site and 1 day a week at their supporting nearby site.
You will be working alongside a team of experienced vets including a surgery and dentistry certificate holder, as well as a skilled team of nurses who actively perform Schedule 3 procedures.
The practice is a busy first-opinion site handling ECC cases, with 3 consulting rooms, a theatre, imaging room, and support from VVS for ultrasound.
The smaller site (1 day a week) is also well-supported by the wider team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for and required to:
- Deliver exceptional clinical care during consultations and procedures
- Communicate clearly with clients and provide regular patient updates
- Create tailored, accurate treatment plans with cost transparency
- Demonstrate professional excellence, maintaining high standards of regulatory and clinical compliance
- Mentor and support the development of the wider team
- Perform thorough handover and referral processes
This is a permanent full time role working 40 hours a week with 1:3 Saturdays. However, our client can be flexible and will consider a part time role for the right candidate, so please do let us know your preferences.
