My client is seeking an experienced and motivated Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly, well-established small animal practice in Cheshire.
This role would suit a confident clinician ready to step into a Head Vet position, or an experienced Vet who would like to settle into the practice first with a clear and supported pathway into leadership.
Key Details
• Salary up to £75,000 (DOE, FTE)
• Full or part-time hours considered
• No Sundays or out-of-hours work
• Saturday mornings only on a 1 in 4 rota

You will work closely alongside the practice owner, who is highly experienced and hands-on, allowing decisions to be made quickly and collaboratively. This close working relationship ensures your clinical judgement, ideas and opinions are genuinely valued, while maintaining complete clinical freedom to provide the highest standard of patient care.
The practice itself is modern, light and spacious, equipped with high-quality, up-to-date facilities including digital imaging, ultrasound, blood pressure monitoring and comprehensive in-house laboratory equipment. The team is supportive, sociable and passionate about delivering excellent care, with a strong focus on collaboration and development at all levels.
You will play an integral role in maintaining clinical standards across the practice and mentoring junior vets on a day-to-day basis. The current team includes experienced clinicians as well as a more recent graduate with a special interest in exotics, and specialisms and further interests are actively encouraged. Ongoing CPD and certificate support are fully supported by the practice owner.
The role offers genuine flexibility, with full or part-time hours considered to support a healthy work-life balance. There are no Sundays or out-of-hours requirements, and Saturday mornings are worked on a fair rota basis.
