Modern SA Branch In Cheshire Seeks Vet Surgeon

Cheshire, United Kingdom
My client is looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their progressive and forward-thinking small animal practice at a particularly exciting time of growth and innovation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Vet who enjoys working in a supportive environment and wants the freedom to explore special interests while being backed by a highly experienced clinical team.
The practice is embracing new AI-led technology designed to streamline workflows, reduce admin time and allow vets to focus more fully on patient care. Full training and CPD support will be provided to ensure you feel confident using these tools, making this an excellent opportunity for a vet who is curious, open-minded and keen to work at the forefront of modern veterinary practice.
You will be joining a large, well-established team with a broad range of clinical interests, offering a genuinely collaborative working environment and excellent opportunities for shared learning. The caseload is varied, with a high proportion of insured patients and engaged, proactive clients, allowing for gold-standard care and thorough case work-ups.
The role would ideally suit a Veterinary Surgeon confident with routine consults and surgery. Experience or a strong interest in areas such as dentistry, cardiology or laparoscopy would be welcomed, however experienced consult-only vets or those with alternative special interests are also encouraged to apply. My client is keen to tailor the role around the right individual.
Work-life balance is a genuine priority. The practice operates a well-structured diary with 20-minute consults, protected admin and phone call time, and fully blocked lunch breaks. Nursing support is available throughout the day, both in consults and via dedicated nurse clinics, ensuring clinicians are well supported and able to finish on time.
Full-time hours are preferred; however, part-time working can be discussed for the right candidate. There are no out-of-hours or Sunday requirements, and Saturday mornings are worked on a fair rota basis.
Outside of work, the team is friendly and sociable, regularly enjoying activities together such as charity events, outdoor activities and informal social gatherings, helping to foster a strong sense of togetherness within the practice.
The salary is circa £60,000 (DOE, FTE), with CPD and certificate support encouraged as well as so many other fantastic benefits!
This is an excellent opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon seeking a modern, well-supported role within a genuinely progressive practice that values both clinical excellence and staff wellbeing.
