Due to growing client demand, we’re excited to be expanding our team at Broken Cross Veterinary Surgery (RCVS accredited). This is a fantastic opportunity for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a genuinely supportive, close‑knit practice where colleague wellbeing and clinical standards go hand in hand.

About Us
Broken Cross is a friendly, community-focused practice located in the heart of Macclesfield. Our facilities include:
- Two well-equipped consulting rooms
- Operating theatre
- In‑house laboratory facilities including on‑site blood analysers and microscopy
- Digital radiography
- A highly experienced, welcoming team
We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality first-opinion care, allowing sufficient time for thorough workups and meaningful client communication. Some sole charge is required, so prior experience is essential.
Retention is something we’re incredibly proud of, and our nursing team brings a wealth of experience, with most having 20+ years in practice.
Our Clinical Director, Shana, graduated from Dublin in 2007 and has nearly a decade of leadership experience. She has a particular interest in animal behaviour and holds a postgraduate qualification in this field, helping to foster a supportive and progressive clinical environment.

Macclesfield offers the perfect balance of town and countryside. With Tegg’s Nose Country Park, Macclesfield Forest, local museums and markets on your doorstep — plus National Trust properties nearby — it’s ideal for outdoor lovers.
