Due to an increase in client demand we have a fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our amazing, supportive team at Broken Cross Veterinary Surgery (RCVS accredited). We’re flexible with rota patterns and happy to discuss what works best for you.
💰 Salary: up to £57,000(DOE) based on a 40 hour week

About Us
Broken Cross is a lovely, community-focused practice in Macclesfield with:
- 2 consulting rooms and an operating theatre
- Digital radiography
- A friendly, dedicated team of 1.5 vets, 3 RVNs and 1 receptionist
We deliver high-standard first opinion services, ensuring time for thorough workups and engaging clients in their pets’ care. Some sole charge will be required, so experience is essential.
We are a practice that retains very well. We have long standing members of the team who have been here for as long as 14 years. Our Nursing team come with heaps of experience, all of which have been nursing for circa 20 years+ Our Clinical Director Shana graduated from Dublin in 2007 and has worked in a leadership role for almost 10 years. Shana has a specific interest in animal behaviour and has completed a post graduate certificate in this discipline.
Location
Macclesfield has plenty to offer – from Tegg’s Nose Country Park and Macclesfield Forest to museums, markets and nearby National Trust spots. It’s well connected too, with direct trains to London, Manchester, and Birmingham. Central Manchester is just 35 minutes by train, with its vibrant nightlife, theatres, music venues, galleries, and more.
