Westgate Veterinary Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a full-time mixed veterinary surgeon to join the team. We have an experienced clinical team working in a fully equipped practice with, in house lab, digital x-ray, dental x-ray and ultrasound.
Drogheda is a rapidly expanding town with all the required services for modern living less than one hour from Dublin and 30 minutes from Dublin airport. It is set in a picturesque coastal area providing all the desired amenities for urban and outdoor activities alike to enjoy in your time off.
We're looking for a full time mixed veterinary surgeon with a bias for small animal. You'll be joining a team of 8 vets, 11 nurses and 6 admin covering two branches. 1 in 4 rota. Salary starts at €45,000 and will be commensurate with experience.
The practice is fully equipped to a high standard, with all mod cons expected, facilitating high quality and compassionate, veterinary care with friendly colleagues and a good working environment providing ample opportunities to develop your clinical skills.
This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious mixed vet with large and small animal skills to work with progressive farm clients, primarily dairy, and to further develop your companion animal skills in busy small animal clinics with great opportunities for career progression.
