We’re looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our fantastic, supportive team at Calweton Vets!

- 3 small animal practices with our main branch in Callington, and a smaller surgery in Looe and Saltash (all have operating facilities)

- Regular visiting peripatetic orthopaedic surgeon
- Diagnostic Imaging certificate holder - cardiac/abdominal scans performed in house

- Friendly sociable team – 7 Vets (part-time & full-time), plus our fantastic and highly skilled Nurses and Support Team. Regular social activities including ‘Grub Club’, attending Park Runs, pub quizzes etc.
- Membership included at China Fleet Country Club - 25m swimming pool, gym, exercise classes, sauna/steam rooms
- Clinical meeting every week to discuss cases and developments
The Role:
- Full-time position (4.5 day working week) – open to flexible working options – we’re happy to discuss what arrangement could work best for you
- Daytime hours 08:30-5:30pm, including one hour lunchbreak, allowing you to enjoy your evenings
- Participation in Saturday morning rota (1:6) - would increase to 1:7 - with additional TOIL for this
- No emergency on-call but in-patient care retained in house - a dedicated night nurse stays with patients overnight, and a vet is on-call for the in-patients
- Working in each branch, but this can be flexible to suit your preferences
- Salary – depends on experience
