We are looking for an experienced farm vet to join our friendly team in the lovely Cornish countryside.
About us:
Working as part of a small farm only team, supported by a team of ATTs and vet techs, this role will be based at our Callington branch close to beautiful coast and moor.
As a practice we service a diverse range of clients as well as delivering regular client training meetings and actively engage in local and national initiatives.
About the role:
Ideally you will work full time - working hours are usually 8.30-5pm, with a half day for a night on call and a full day TOIL for a weekend. A generous holiday allowance means you have plenty of time to enjoy the local area.
The rota is made easier by our own OOH vet who picks up half of the rota with the rest split evenly between the rest of the team, meaning it’s approx. 1:10 for 10 months of the year.
The role will involve all aspects of progressive farm vetting, working with a range of dairy, beef and sheep farms allowing individuals to explore their interest areas. Our team of ATTs help to keep TB testing to a minimum and allow vets to focus on their clinical work.
** Salary - £35-40K depending on experience**
