Farm Vet in Cornwall - Genuine Work-Life Balance - Supportive Team

Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 DOE

Looking for a farm vet role where you can enjoy clinical freedom, genuine work-life balance, and a fantastic lifestyle by the coast and countryside?

We’re looking for a farm vet to join our supportive and collaborative team based in the beautiful Cornish countryside.

Why join us?

About Us

You’ll be joining a small, farm-only team supported by experienced ATTs and vet techs, based at our Callington branch close to both stunning coastline and moorland.

We work with a diverse and progressive client base across dairy, beef and sheep farms, and we’re passionate about building strong client relationships through regular training meetings and involvement in local and national initiatives.

We’re proud to foster a team culture where people feel supported, ideas and interests are encouraged, and everyone works collaboratively to provide the best care possible.

About the Role

We’re ideally looking for a full-time vet, but we’re very open to discussing flexible working arrangements for the right person.

Typical working hours are 8.30am–5pm, with a half day following a night on call and a full TOIL day following a worked weekend. Combined with a generous holiday allowance, there’s plenty of opportunity to enjoy everything Cornwall has to offer.

Our rota is made significantly easier thanks to our dedicated out-of-hours vet, who covers around half of the out-of-hours work. The remaining rota is shared evenly across the team, working out at approximately 1:5 for 10 months of the year.

The role includes all aspects of progressive farm veterinary work across dairy, beef and sheep farms, with opportunities to develop and pursue individual areas of interest. Our experienced ATT team also helps minimise TB testing commitments, allowing vets to focus more on clinical and advisory work.

Benefits

As part of the VetPartners family, we offer an excellent benefits package including:

VetPartners was recently awarded Employer of the Year, recognising our commitment to creating a supportive and progressive place to work where colleagues can thrive.

Interested?

We’d love to have an informal chat, answer any questions confidentially, or even arrange for you to come in for a coffee and meet the team.
