JHP Recruitment are working with an independent small animal practice in North Cornwall seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and expanding team. This long-established, RCVS-accredited practice operates across two well-equipped branches and offers the perfect blend of countryside, coastline and accessible transport links. You’ll be joining a supportive small animal team of around 9 vets and 13 nurses (FTE) who value collaboration, wellbeing and a positive, open culture.
Role details:
The position can be structured as a 3- or 4-day week with 15-minute consults and an equal-share OOH rota. You’ll cover one week of out-of-hours only (with no day shifts) approximately every 10 weeks, plus one Saturday morning clinic around every 18 weeks. The practice promotes clinical freedom, encourages case continuity and supports career development at all levels.
