Come to the beautiful Mourne Mountains and be part of our friendly, 4-vet-2-nurse mixed practice with Mourne Veterinary Clinic. We are a warm and welcoming team in a small, close-knit community so you would be joining a practice with a lovely, community feel.
We’re a friendly team of 4 Vets, 2 Nurses and 2 Receptionists. Our team cohesion is strong and includes locals who know the area and its people. We’re passionate about our community, and we all work together to ensure we provide not just a top service, but one catered specifically to our neighbours and clients. As a mixed practice nestled in rural South Down, it’s essential you understand the way of life of our pet owners and farmers. We’ll give you excellent backup and support along the way to achieve this.
The role sees you work a 1 in 4 OOH rota on the weekends, with a small radius of cover. Monday to Friday you’ll work a 9am-6pm week. We’re happy to consider part-time hours for the right person.
We are looking for a mixed vet with LA bias, we can be flexible with FT/PT hours. We are ideally looking for someone with initial experience within practice but would be happy to take a new grad who is well-versed in large animal work.
Salary of £40,000 to £60,000 depending on experience.
