SA Veterinary Surgeon required – County Durham – HF1821
Due to relocation and expansion, a 4 site well equipped small animal practice in County Durham is looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their large, talented certificate holding team of Vets, RVNs, VCAs and ANAs. The practice is well equipped with ultrasound, digital and dental x-ray and endoscopy/laparoscopy with plans for CT at the new site. Members of the vet team hold certificates in surgery, dentistry, imaging, cardiology and minimally invasive surgery. The nursing team have members with certificates in medicine and anaesthesia. This role would suit a candidate with at least 3 years of previous experience who is comfortable with routine consults and surgery and confident with sole charge working. The opportunity also exists for someone with top notch communication skills who’s looking for a more senior role which would include mentoring less experienced team members and dealing with challenging situations.
- Ideally full time but part time hours considered for the right candidate.
- 1:4 Saturdays but no OOH.
- RCVS plus 2 other memberships paid.
