e are seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly, supportive small animal practice in the Derbyshire area. This is a full‑time role within a well‑established team that prides itself on high‑quality clinical care, a positive working culture and excellent work‑life balance.
The Practice You will be joining a modern, light and spacious surgery equipped with:
- Digital x‑ray
- Ultrasound
- Blood pressure monitoring
- In‑house laboratory facilities
The team consists of:
- 4 Vets
- 6 Nurses
- 5 Client Care Advisors
- Practice Manager
The practice has a warm, collaborative culture and places strong emphasis on supporting colleagues, maintaining high standards and ensuring a positive client experience.
The Role This is a full‑time position based on a 40‑hour week, including:
- 1 in 4 weekends
- 15‑minute routine consults
- 30‑minute PTS appointments
- Consults finishing 30 minutes before closing to support work‑life balance
The practice is looking for a vet who is:
- Friendly, calm and enthusiastic
- Confident in both medicine and routine surgery
- Strong in communication and client care
- Positive, team‑focused and proactive
Salary & Benefits
- Salary £40,000–£50,000 depending on experience
