VetPro Recruitment are seeking a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to provide maternity cover for a 12 month period at an independent practice in Derbyshire from approximately December 2026. You will join a supportive and experienced team within a family run practice with a loyal client base. Applicants will ideally have at least four years' experience with confidence treating routine surgery and consultations. An interest in internal medicine would be beneficial but not essential. Full time hours working 4 days per week with a fixed day off. Part time hours considered. Saturdays are on a 1 in 5 rota (08:30 - 15:30). No OOH required. Opportunity to work cases up to a high standard. Modern facilities with clinical freedom. Competitive rates of pay. RCVS and VDS membership.
