Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their well-established team in a beautiful coastal town in Devon.
This practice is led by the Branch Partner and includes a dedicated team of four vets. This location is also a training hub for nurses, showcasing the practice's commitment to professional development. One of the vets is nearing completion of a BSAVA certification in ophthalmology, highlighting the practice’s support for advanced learning and specialization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for and required to
- Be responsible for delivering high-quality care during consultations and procedures, ensuring that both patients and clients receive the best possible experience.
- Provide clear and effective communication with clients and provide them with regular updates on their pets’ conditions and explaining treatment plans.
- Prepare accurate and individualized care plans for each patient, including clear cost estimates.
- Mentor and develop the team, enhancing their skills, and ensuring they are utilized effectively.
- Complete clinical handovers and arranging for any patient needing out-of-hours or enhanced care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This is a permanent, full-time role. However, our client will consider a part-time role for the right candidate so please do let us know your preferences.
This role offers a salary up to £60,000 DOE and a range of benefits including
