GVC are assisting a practice in Devon in their search for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and supportive team.

The Team
You’ll be joining a close-knit and experienced group of veterinary professionals, including a multi-certificate holder, a veterinary surgeon with over 20 years’ experience, a new graduate vet, and a dedicated team of RVNs, VCAs, and client care advisors.
The practice values teamwork, communication, and a supportive culture where everyone contributes to a positive and enjoyable working environment.
The Role
We are seeking a confident Veterinary Surgeon with a solid grounding in general practice. You should be comfortable with all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery and have a genuine passion for building lasting relationships with clients and their pets.
If you have an interest in mentoring and would like to become a Vet GDP Advisor, this role offers an exciting opportunity to guide and support the next generation of veterinary professionals as the team continues to expand.
Key details:
- Full-time preferred, but flexible working arrangements can be considered
- 20-minute consults as standard
- Well-structured days with regular team catch-ups
- No out-of-hours work
- 1 in 3 Saturday mornings only
- Practice closes at 6pm on several days each week
