We are recruiting for a pivotal Night Veterinary Surgeon position at a recently refurbished, multi-disciplinary 24-Hour Hospital located just a short drive from the stunning South West Coast (Dorset area).
The Unmatched Rota & Lifestyle
- Schedule: Just TWO night shifts (Monday and Tuesday) every three weeks.
- Hours: 18:45 – 09:00 (Averaging only 9.5 hours per week).

The Role: High Autonomy & Advanced Facilities
This is a sole-charge role (supported by an ECC-certified nursing team), requiring confidence and a minimum of 4 years of proven UK experience (ECC experience ideal).
- Caseload: Work within a busy regional hub providing out-of-hours care for multiple local practices, guaranteeing a wide and varied range of clinical cases.
- Expert Team: Collaborate and learn from a highly skilled team including certificate holders in Diagnostic Imaging, Internal Medicine, Dermatology, and ECC.
- Cutting-Edge Equipment: The hospital is fully equipped to deliver exceptional care, featuring a CT Scanner, Digital X-ray, Ultrasound, Dental X-ray, Endoscopy, Two Sterile Surgical Suites, dedicated in-house lab, and ISFM Silver Cat Friendly status.
