An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a well established RCVS accredited practice in Dorset. This is a permanent, full time position working 4 days per week with 1 in 4 Saturdays on a shared rota. No sole charge, Sundays, Bank Holidays or on call required. Part time hours also considered. You will be supported by an experienced team of 9 Vets including dedicated orthopaedic surgeon and VetGDP advisor in the team. The practice is very well equipped with own in-house orthopaedic service, digital x-ray, endoscopes, ultrasound and CT scanner. You will see a diverse caseload with ambition to specialise or work towards a certificate supported. Applicants must be comfortable with all aspects of small animal veterinary work, with confidence in undertaking a high load of medical and surgical cases and strong imaging skills. Well located practice with good public transport and motorway links. Bournemouth also benefits from having it’s own airport too. On offer is a competitive salary, dependent on experience with CPD funding, paid memberships and more.
