This practice is spacious and well-equipped, providing a welcoming environment for both clients and staff, it features three consult rooms, separate dispensary and lab, dedicated theatre, large prep area, dental table, and X-ray room, separate cattery and kennel areas (including a large walk-in kennel), communal spaces including an office, heated rooms and a beautiful garden for breaks during the warmer months. The practice has a homely atmosphere, with a strong community spirit and the team are proud of the close relationships they build with their clients, often knowing both them and their pets by name. The tight-knit, friendly team enjoys working together, and are eager to welcome another veterinary surgeon to their supportive environment.
You will be working alongside a supportive team including a Head RVN, 1 RVN, 2 SVNs, a VCA, and a CCA as well as 2 Vets including a Branch Partner who has been part of the community for many years.
This opportunity allows you to work on a variety of cases, blending consultations and surgeries. Whether you’re a newly qualified vet or an experienced practitioner, this team will support your growth and development. You will also have the chance to develop your own client base while consulting and operating, with the option to refer complex cases to the nearby 24-hour hospital.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for and required to
- Deliver exceptional clinical care to patients during consultations and procedures
- Build strong relationships with clients, providing clear communication and updates
- Prepare customised treatment plans with accurate cost estimates
- Mentor and support team members, enhancing their skills and confidence
- Ensure smooth clinical handovers and transfer of patients needing OOH or enhanced care
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
This is a permanent, full-time role. However, our client will also consider part-time applications, so please do let us know your preferences.
