Are you a confident and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon looking for a better work-life balance? Our client is looking for a dedicated Out of Hours Veterinary Surgeon to join their team at their busy and well-equipped small animal surgery in East London.
This is a purpose built, modern facility practice with 2 dedicated operating theatres, ultrasound, an in-house lab, digital radiography, full endoscopy unit and access to CT imaging at a sister branch. You can also expect a supportive environment with support toward certificate-level study should you wish.
You will be working alongside a friendly, skilled team of 14 vets and 18 veterinary nurses with interests across medicine, soft tissue, and orthopaedic surgery and a strong focus on team collaboration and clinical excellence.
The successful candidate will preferably have UK clinical experience in small animal practice and is confident with sole charge and emergency procedures as well as competent in diagnostics, medicine, and surgery with the ability to be calm under pressure and have excellent communication and client care skills.
This is a permanent part time role working on a flexible and sustainable rota of 7 nights on and 14 nights off with weeknights shifts (8pm – 8.15am) and weekend shifts (6pm – 9am).
