Are you an experienced Vet ready to take the next step and make a practice your own? This busy, vibrant East London clinic is looking for a Senior Veterinary Surgeon to lead their friendly, passionate team and shape the future of the practice.
✨ The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to combine clinical work with leadership. You’ll:
- Take an active role in daily consults and surgeries
- Lead and mentor a supportive team of Vets, RVNs and students
- Work closely with your senior RVN to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Have a voice in future equipment investment and practice development
You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy varied caseloads (including minor ops and complex surgeries) and have support from a nearby 24-hour hospital for emergency referrals and continuity of care.
🏥 The Practice
- The clinic is purpose-built with:
- Two consulting rooms
- Spacious prep and theatre area
- Separate cat and dog wards
- Well-equipped lab area
- Ongoing investment in diagnostic and imaging facilities
The team pride themselves on their supportive, collaborative atmosphere — pulling together on challenging days and celebrating the wins together.
⏱ The Rota
- Average 41 hours per week over 4 days
- 1:4 Saturday rota (branch) & 1:8 Sunday rota (hospital)
- Up to 2 bank holidays per year (rotated)
- Around 6 twilight shifts annually

- Salary: £64,000 – £85,000 DOE (FTE)
