What We’re Looking For
We're on the hunt for a Certificate Holder or Advanced Practitioner in Surgery who is passionate about soft tissue surgery and delivering outstanding clinical care. Ideally, you'll also have experience in ultrasonography, but the team is happy to support further training in this area.
You’ll thrive in this role if you:
✅ Are confident in handling a variety of complex soft tissue surgeries
✅ Enjoy working closely with referral and emergency cases
✅ Have excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
✅ Are keen to work alongside a dedicated team of RVNs and clinicians
Your Role
Working alongside a team of experienced surgeons and theatre nurses, you'll take the lead on soft tissue cases, with the chance to work up cases to referral level. The hospital’s facilities allow for a wide range of procedures, including:
- Complex abdominal surgeries
- Thoracic surgeries
- Laparoscopic spays
- SUB placements
- Liver resections
The role involves a 40-hour week, including a shared weekend rota (1:6) and up to two bank holiday shifts per year – but no out-of-hours work.
