GVC is recruiting a Veterinary Surgeon on behalf of a busy, well-established small animal surgery in Romford. CT on site, 24-hour onsite team, thirteen vets and a salary up to £80,000 — a well-resourced practice with a genuinely varied caseload.
About the practice
Purpose-built surgery with two operating theatres, CT scanner, full endoscopy, ultrasound, digital radiography and in-house laboratory. Dedicated onsite day and night team providing 24-hour care. Team of thirteen vets with wide-ranging clinical interests including medicine, soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery. Free on-site parking, twenty-five minutes to central London by train.
The role
Four days per week. One in six full weekends and one in six Saturdays only. Occasional sole charge. Part time considered. Varied small animal caseload with strong internal medicine and surgical throughput.
Requirements
Minimum three years UK experience. Significant internal medicine experience. Confident in routine surgery and occasional sole charge.
