We are a small independent veterinary practice who takes pride in our continuation of care. You will be working in our advanced in diagnostics first opinion practice using in-house Idexx lab, digital radiography, ultrasound scanner and fully equiped surgical theatre.
• You will be expected to be confident with sole charge general practice work, emergency cases, imaging, making plans for the patient's care and providing excellent customer service for their owners.
• The work is a mixture of consults and surgeries, working on most days side by side with another experienced surgeon, and a team of 3 nurses and 2 receptionists.
• 20 mins consult slots
• operations are booked with care to avoid overbooking
• No out of hours work
• Practice opening hours: Mon-Fri 09:00-19:00; Sat 09:00-13:00; Sunday: Closed.
• 1 in 3 Saturdays (09:00-13:00) would be included in the rota
• We can be flexible with the hours for the right candidate.
• VDS , RCVS membership and CPD allowance covered by the practice if working on contract;
You will play an important role in ensuring our customers and their pets are kept happy and healthy and there is no better job than that!

Pay: Up to £72,000.00 per year for full time on contract, for locums up to £600/ day DOE
