Are you a vet keen to take on a role at a large East Sussex hospital where you will be part of a dynamic medicine and emergency team?This fantastic client has a rare opportunity for a confident vet with a bias for internal medicine to take an active role in managing the large and varied caseload they see from their branches and subscribing practices.
This hospital has 8 consulting rooms, dedicated Cat, dog, exotic, isolation and day procedure wards. Three theatres, and prep areas, CT, dental suite and full inhouse lab with a dedicated lab technician.
The team comprises of two dedicated hospital vets, two surgeons, separate exotics teams and small animal consulting vets. In addition, there are three night vet surgeons and nurses who cover all OOH.
This is an opportunity for the right candidate to join multiple certificate holders and colleagues with a huge range of clinical interests and expertise, including referral services for orthopaedics, ophthalmology, advanced imaging, and exotics.
This role is for three days (12 hour shifts), no OOH, on call or weekend shifts. It comes with a raft of benefits including an attractive and competitive salary, 6.6 weeks holiday per year including bank holidays, RCVS and VDS fees are covered plus one other subscription, £1,750 towards CPD (more if you are already a cert holder) and five days leave.
