JR has an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and skilled veterinary Surgeon to join our client’s well-established and supportive team. Located in a small village in East Yorkshire, this branch is staffed by an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse, a Veterinary Surgeon, a Client Care Advisor, and an Animal Care Assistant, all committed to providing high standards of care. The branch is well equipped with separate dog and cat kennels, an operating theatre, and in-house lab equipment, including blood analyzers and a microscope. The main veterinary hospital, just 10 minutes away, offers advanced facilities such as color doppler ultrasound, endoscopy, laparoscopy, digital radiography, CT, MRI, and a comprehensive lab setup. Additionally, there is a dedicated dental branch with fully equipped dental suites. This role involves a balanced mix of surgery and consultations, providing comprehensive first-opinion care and the team ensures time is allocated during the day for administrative tasks, contributing to better work-life balance and reduced stress. The practice is actively involved in local events and is an integral part of the local communities which is known for its friendly atmosphere, lively nightlife, and cultural scene, with many pubs, restaurants, and venues hosting international acts. This is a permanent, full-time role working 40 hours a week over 4 days with 3.6 Saturday shifts. However, our client will consider a Part Time role for the right candidate so please do let us know your preferences.
