Our clients friendly and professional practice situated in a rural, affluent part of East Yorkshire, is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join their team, led by a passionate Clinical Director and supported by a Head Nurse, a team of Veterinary Surgeons, Registered Veterinary Nurses, Student Nurses, Patient Care Assistants, Client Care Assistants, Administrative Staff and a dedicated night team of experienced vets and RVNs to cover out-of-hours care.
This role offers a unique opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-equipped, advanced 24-hour hospital situated in a beautiful rural location. With access to a wide range of modern diagnostic and therapeutic facilities, you'll be able to provide top-tier care in a supportive and collaborative environment. The practice's location combines the serenity of the countryside with easy access to several vibrant cities, offering an excellent work-life balance. Facilities include 24-hour hospitalisation with separate wards for dogs, cats, exotics, and isolation cases, 3 operating theatres equipped with modern surgical facilities, In-house laboratory and advanced diagnostic imaging, Ultrasound, Doppler, digital X-ray, Digital endoscopy, rhinoscopy, arthroscopy, CT suite, Diagnostic ECG, Hydrotherapy, underwater treadmill and laser therapy.
The successful candidate will be responsible for and required to
- Provide exceptional clinical care during consultations and procedures.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment and care plans with clear cost estimates.
- Perform clinical handovers and arrange for the transfer of patients needing out-of-hours or enhanced care.
- Deliver clear and compassionate communication with clients, keeping them informed about their pets' status.
- Mentor and develop your team, enhancing their skills and maximizing their potential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The is a permanent, full-time role. However, our client can be flexible and will consider a part-time role for the right candidate, so please do let us know your preferences.
This role offers a salary up to £72,000 DOE and a range of benefits including
