Paws Vets in Colchester are looking for a dynamic individual to join their team as Clinical Director. Your main duties will include working alongside our practice manager to provide leadership to our team. Ensuring excellent client and patient care, alongside recruitment, organising the vet rota and managing the running of the business.

This is a full-time role working 4/5 days per week between 8:30 am – 6:30 pm Monday-Friday, and between 9 am – 12 pm on Saturdays. No out-of-hours.

The salary for this role is up to £75,000 depending on experience.

We are a 100% small animal practice based in Colchester, Essex. We are a small and friendly practice dedicated to a loyal client base. Our practice is equipped with all of the usual facilities, including ultrasound, direct digital x-ray, and endoscope to name but a few! We are a 2-vet practice, supported by a fantastic team of 5 registered veterinary nurses, 1 veterinary care assistant and 3 receptionists. We also have regular visiting specialists including an orthopaedic surgeon and a cardiologist.

The successful candidate will be an experienced vet that is confident with surgeries, emergencies, and sole charge. It would be great to have some leadership experience, but this is not essential. The ideal candidate needs to be an enthusiastic team player with excellent communication skills looking to further their career.
