PART TIME POSITION for an experienced, RCVS registered Equine Vet to join our friendly, supportive, independent practice. You must be confident in all aspects of first-opinion ambulatory work, possess excellent communication skills, have a good sense of humour and be happy to be part of a team.
We are equipped with all the usual equipment, including digital radiography (DR), ultrasound, gastroscope, endoscope, shockwave, and motorised dental equipment. Day-to-day duties vary but include routine dental work, castrations, poor performance investigations, medicating, scoping, emergency cases and pre-purchase examinations.
We pride ourselves on offering a knowledgeable, caring, and professional service to our clients, who consist of pleasure and competition horse owners.
Based at Codham Equestrian Centre in Beazley End, Near Braintree.
2 days per week, with the option of increasing to 3 or 4 days in the future should your caseload support it—1 night on call per week and a 1 in 5 weekend cover.
Routine appointments are booked between 9 am and 5 pm, and, when possible, are logistically planned.
