We’re seeking a confident and compassionate Out of Hours Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established and busy small animal practice.
This is a part-time position with a rota of 7 nights on, 14 nights off:
- Monday–Friday: 8pm – 8:15am
- Weekends: 6pm – 9am
The Role
You’ll be working alongside a dedicated and highly experienced team, with access to excellent facilities including:
- Two dedicated operating theatres
- Ultrasound
- In-house laboratory
- Digital radiography
- Full endoscopy unit
- Access to CT at a nearby branch
With a varied caseload and 24/7 patient care, this role is perfect for someone with strong surgical and diagnostic skills who is confident with sole charge and thrives in emergency situations.
What We’re Looking For
✔ RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon
✔ Previous UK experience in emergency and critical care
✔ Confident in most emergency surgical procedures
✔ Strong diagnostic and medical skills
✔ Excellent communication and client care
