A busy small animal surgery in Essex has a vacancy for an experienced and confident Veterinary Surgeon to work part time (7 on 14 off) for their OOH department. The successful candidate will be joining a well established team of 14 Vets and 18 Nurses with special interests including medicine, soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery. The practice has fantastic facilities including 2 dedicated operating theatres, ultrasound, in house laboratory and digital radiographs together with full endoscopy unit and access to CT in one of the branches. It is well located within easy travelling distance to both London and Essex countryside. The ideal candidate will have confident communication skills and have previous UK experience. They will be comfortable working sole charge and competent in most emergency surgical procedures and possess good diagnostic and medicinal skills.
- Part time, OOH role working 7 on and 14 off.
- Monday to Friday 8pm – 8:15am, weekends 6pm-9 am.
- Onsite day and night team providing 24/7 care for patients.
- Salary competitive and dependent on experience.
