The hospital is home to a large and experienced team of vets, including multiple certificate holders and those currently studying towards further qualifications. They’re supported by an outstanding nursing and client care team, as well as professionals in physiotherapy and hydrotherapy. The caseload covers everything from first opinion and emergency work to more advanced medicine and surgery.
Facilities include CT, MRI, hydrotherapy, physiotherapy, laser therapy, and fully equipped inpatient and surgical suites. This is an environment where clinical excellence, collaboration, and continued development are genuinely encouraged.
They’re now seeking an experienced vet with a surgical bias, confident managing both routine and emergency cases. An interest in laparoscopic surgery would be a plus, though not essential. The role would suit someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, and the opportunity to develop further in a progressive hospital setting.
The Role
- 4-day week (40 hours)
- 1 in 4 weekends
- No out-of-hours
- Minimal on-call (3–4 times a year)
- Part-time options considered (must include 1 in 4 weekends)
The Package
- Salary up to £70,000 DOE
