We’re recruiting on behalf of a fantastic small animal practice looking for a confident, friendly Veterinary Surgeon to join their supportive, close-knit team.
✨ The Role
This is a part-time position (initially one weekday + 1:4 weekends), with flexibility to join on a fixed-term, locum, or permanent basis depending on your preference.
You’ll have the chance to see a wide and interesting caseload, including soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, and work alongside a highly skilled team passionate about patient care.

- Purpose-built practice with modern, fully equipped facilities
- Digital X-ray, flexible endoscopy, ultrasound (abdominal & cardiac), orthopaedic kit, multi-parameter monitors, and access to CT/MRI
- Opportunity to perform (or develop skills in) orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery, minimally invasive procedures, and advanced anaesthesia techniques
- Supportive, collaborative team with a range of interests including orthopaedics, internal medicine, and diagnostic imaging
✅ What We’re Looking For
- RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon
- Confident with routine consults and surgery (1+ years’ experience ideal)
- Certificate holders welcome, or we can support you towards one
- Great communicator, team player, with a passion for high standards of care
