Veterinary Surgeon (Part-Time) – Small Animal Practice

About the Role
An established and well-equipped small animal practice in Essex is seeking a confident and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon to join its friendly and supportive team. This opportunity offers a high degree of autonomy, allowing the successful candidate to manage their own caseload while working alongside experienced colleagues and benefiting from the support of a wider veterinary network.
The practice has a loyal and established client base and is equipped with modern diagnostic facilities, including digital radiography, ultrasound, and endoscopy. The team actively encourages professional development and supports individual interests.
This position is ideally suited to a Veterinary Surgeon seeking a three-day working week, although flexibility may be available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality first-opinion veterinary care through consultations and surgical procedures.
- Diagnose and manage a varied caseload of small animal patients.
- Develop and communicate tailored treatment plans to clients.
- Maintain the highest standards of professional, and regulatory compliance.
- Work collaboratively within a supportive veterinary team.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and professional development within the wider veterinary community.
- Undertake occasional sole-charge responsibilities with appropriate support available.
