About the Role

Candor Vets is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established, RCVS-accredited small animal practice in Cardiff, seeking a motivated Full-Time Veterinary Surgeon. The role offers excellent clinical support, a varied caseload, and the opportunity to develop within a friendly, forward-thinking team.

The Role Includes

15-minute consults for standard cases, with protected admin time for follow-ups, lab work, and case notes

Dedicated surgery/ops days allowing continuity of care and case ownership

A loyal and appreciative client base, with opportunities to build lasting clinician–client relationships

A diverse caseload—ideal for those looking to develop their skills or pursue further qualifications

Facilities & Support

Two well-equipped branches within Cardiff (approx. 3 miles apart) offering full surgical, diagnostic, and imaging capabilities

8 FTE vets (including 2 VetGDP mentors), 12 RVNs, 1 SVN, 4 ANA, and a skilled reception team

Strong mentorship and support structure for new or recent graduates

Several certificate holders within the team who actively support professional growth and case discussion
