We’re looking for someone with clinical experience in first opinion practice - a great allrounder who enjoys being part of a local, thriving community practice. Whether you’re a committed vet aspiring to a senior vet position or you’re experienced and comfortable with routine vet responsibilities, then we’d love to hear from you.
The Role:
- Salary - up to £70,000 depending on experience
- Full-time between the hours of 8.30am – 6.30pm, Monday to Friday
- 40hrs/week but open to discussion on working patterns for the right person
- No weekends
- No OOH
- We close EVERYDAY for lunch – how civilised!

We are a highly respected, RCVS accredited practice that has been providing outstanding, compassionate care to local pets across Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Oxfordshire since 1903.
Our main practice is in the small market town of Lechlade, on the southern edge of the Cotswolds. Surrounded by peaceful countryside walks, we offer a relaxed working environment where the focus is on client care and having an enjoyable workplace.
Our highly qualified team has access to state-of-the-art equipment and facilities such as a digital x-ray machine, ultrasound, multiparameter anaesthetic monitoring, compressed air powered dental tools, an in-house laboratory and more, allowing us to deliver the best service to our clients and their pets.
We have a sister practice, Archway Veterinary Surgery, in Highworth just down the road with whom we share our workload, meaning there is backup available from other experienced vets if needed.

The Area:
Bridge Vets is situated in beautiful Lechlade on Thames, doorstep to the Cotswolds. There are lots of independent shops, cafes and pubs plus great walks in the stunning surrounding countryside. The Cotswold Water Park is on our doorstep too with plenty of opportunity to get involved with a variety of water sports.
We have great transport links to Oxford, Swindon, Cirencester, Bath, Bristol, and London. So, there is plenty to do and see in your downtime!
