At Help Search & Locate we are delighted to be recruiting a full or part-time Veterinary Surgeon for a well-established practice in Gloucester.
As a Veterinary Surgeon, you will be working with a dedicated team of professionals who are passionate about their work and strive to provide the highest standards of care to their patients. You will be responsible for providing an excellent service to clients and their pets, performing a range of duties such as routine health checks, consultations, surgical procedures, and much more. The role is available as the well-equipped, friendly practice has grown to a level that they now need another pair of hands!
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about animals and has a strong interest in veterinary medicine. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years experience in veterinary science and will be qualified to practice in the UK. The practice is currently set up to perform orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery, allowing them to take on local referral cases.
In return for your hard work and dedication, we are offering a competitive package with a salary of £50K to £70K pro rata, depending on qualifications and experience. The role offers no out of hours work, but you would be expected to join in their 1 in 3 weekends rota. Partnership opportunities are available for the right person, and the current owners will be looking to retire in a few years. They want the practice to remain proudly independent and are therefore looking for someone like-minded who will drive the practice to even future success.
