JR is seeking a talented and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our clients growing team. Ideally you will be a Veterinary Surgeon with a keen interest in surgery, particularly orthopaedics. This is a well-established small-animal practice where you will be part of a supportive, close-knit team who believe in being pro-active when it comes to clients and are a big part of a thriving community in a picturesque town. The practice is a modern facility in an area known for its vibrant shopping and entertainment options including boutiques, cafes, restaurants, and bars. This is a fantastic team currently consisting of 5 veterinary surgeons, each with unique specialisations: one holds a surgery certificate, another has a special interest in cardiology, and another in ophthalmology. They are supported by a skilled team of qualified nurses, Student Veterinary Nurses and reception staff. This practice is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities including a separate dental theatre, imaging suite and also offer advanced procedures such as lap spays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional clinical care during consultations and procedures
- Provide clear and compassionate updates to clients about their pets
- Develop accurate treatment and care pans with clear cost estimates
- Mentor and develop team members, enhancing their skills
This is a Permanent, Part-Time role working 3 days a week (actual days can be flexible) and 1:5 Saturday mornings.
This role offers a salary up to £45,000 DOE and a range of benefits including
