An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon with a passion for emergency and critical care to join a well-established 24-hour veterinary hospital in London as a Lead Night Veterinary Surgeon.
Working a 7 nights on, 14 nights off rota (7pm–9am), this role offers an excellent work-life balance while allowing you to manage a varied and rewarding emergency caseload. The successful candidate will provide outstanding patient and client care, lead overnight clinical operations, and support the development of the wider clinical team.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional emergency and critical care to patients.
Manage consultations, diagnostics, and overnight hospital cases.
Provide clear communication and updates to clients.
Lead clinical handovers and ensure continuity of care.
Support and mentor colleagues, promoting high clinical standards.
Maintain regulatory, clinical, and operational compliance.
About You
Qualified and registered MRCVS.
Confident managing emergency and critical care cases.
Strong clinical leadership and communication skills.
