An established veterinary clinic in the Greater London area is seeking a dedicated and motivated Lead Veterinary Surgeon to head up their friendly and professional team. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for a forward-thinking individual looking to take the next step in clinical leadership.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to influence clinical direction, mentor colleagues, and ensure high-quality patient and client care. The Lead Veterinary Surgeon will play a pivotal role in maintaining clinical standards, driving operational performance, and supporting team development.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering outstanding clinical care during consultations and procedures
Preparing personalised treatment plans with accurate cost estimates
Providing clear and compassionate client communication
Upholding the highest standards of compliance, clinical governance, and practice performance
Mentoring and coaching the clinical team, enhancing their skills and confidence
Encouraging nurse-led consults and Schedule 3 procedures to improve clinical efficiency
Promoting a collaborative and supportive working environment
Sharing best clinical practices across the wider veterinary network
