A friendly, independent small animal practice is looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their close-knit team and help deliver high-quality, personalised care to a loyal local client base.

Independent, small animal, first-opinion practice
Strong focus on continuity and quality of care

Well-equipped with ultrasound, digital X-ray, endoscopy, in-house lab testing and microscopy
Convenient location on the North West London / Hertfordshire border with excellent transport links and easy access to countryside
The Role
Small animal veterinary surgeon role with a varied caseload
Full-time preferred, part-time considered
4-day week, averaging 38 hours
No OOH
1 in 3 Saturday mornings (9am–12pm) included within contracted hours
Emphasis on high clinical standards and client communication
The Ideal Candidate
3–4+ years’ UK small animal experience
Confident communicator with a client-focused approach
Team player who enjoys working collaboratively
Committed to maintaining and developing high clinical standards
Full clean UK driving licence
