Our client's role offers a fantastic mix of first-opinion consulting and hospital inpatient caseloads. The group operates its own dedicated out-of-hours provision in a Tier 3 hospital and is supported by an in-house, multi-disciplinary certificate-led referral team. With an exciting and diverse caseload, this position provides an ideal environment to support your clinical progression alongside a collaborative, friendly team.
🏥 Facilities & Clinical Support:
You will benefit from access to an extensive range of advanced equipment across the group, including:
- Advanced diagnostic imaging (CT scanner and visiting MRI scanner)
- Doppler echocardiography
- Flexible and rigid endoscopes
- Direct radiography suites & ultrasound scanners
- Dental radiography & fluoroscopy
- Electrocautery & laparoscopy
- Advanced anaesthesia equipment
📅 Rota & Shift Pattern:
- Working Pattern: Average 4-day working week.
- On-Call: No on-call duties (supported by an in-house OOH team).
- Weekend Rota: Weekend shifts included, fully compensated with time off in lieu.
- Sole Charge: Includes elements of sole charge (experience required).
👤 Candidate Requirements:
- RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon.
- Experienced clinician (ideally 3+ years post-qualification experience) confident with sole charge duties.
- Passionate about delivering gold-standard care with engaged client consent.
💰 Salary & Benefits:
- Salary: Competitive salary to be discussed at interview (typical range starting from £45,000+ per annum, dependent on experience).
