Exciting Veterinary Surgeon Opportunity
Tameside Veterinary Clinic is a well-established RCVS GP accredited practice, just a 10-minute tram ride from Manchester city centre and a stone’s throw from the rolling hills of The Peak District. We are based over 4, well-equipped sites. We also work closely with the Dogs Trust in Denton, Manchester.
We care about all pets and have strong ties to local and national charities. We have several accreditations including ‘Dogs Trust Dog Friendly’ Clinic and ‘Fear Free Clinic’ and are working towards gaining ‘Cat Friendly Clinic’ accreditation across all four sites.

About the role:
We are looking for a confident veterinary surgeon, who is looking to further their clinical skills and provide high standards of care to our patients and their families. You will be joining a team of 11 vets with a range of clinical skills and interests. We have certificate holders in dentistry and medicine, as well as vets who are working towards certificates in imaging and dermatology. In addition, there is a visiting orthopaedic surgeon, ensuring a varied caseload.
- Salary up to £60,000 (pro-rata) depending on experience
- Full time role, but part time would be considered
- 4 day week promoting good work: life balance
- A share in the Saturday rota, no Sundays, no OOHs, no bank holidays
