We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Locum Vet Surgeon to join our team in Southampton. This role offers an immediate start with a flexible work schedule of two days per week (Mondays and Tuesdays). Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality veterinary care to a range of animals, ensuring the highest standards of treatment.
- Conduct consultations, diagnostics, surgeries, and procedures.
- Manage a caseload and deliver care with a focus on animal welfare.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners, explaining treatment plans and recommendations.
- Work collaboratively with the practice team to provide excellent service.
- Adhere to veterinary guidelines and ensure compliance with health and safety protocols.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- RCVS registered Vet Surgeon.
- Proven experience in veterinary practice, with excellent surgical and diagnostic skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to empathize with pet owners.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible and adaptable with the ability to manage a busy caseload.
